Symbiot provided Sportbacks for prizes and it went over very well with the crowd at their XTERRA Trail Run event. Symbiot will be providing more prizes at upcoming XTERRA events so if your in Southern California get up off your butt and check out some events and you might even be able to win a Sportback!
The 2008/2009 XTERRA Trail Run SoCal Series continues in 2009 with more endurance trail runs and challenging courses. We feature some of the most beautiful terrain and exciting trail races in Southern California. Check out our races and what is to be offered for the 2009/2010 series.
All the events feature a shorter run for beginners/sprinters and a longer course for more endurance-oriented athletes. The 7 event series has stops at some of the top trails and mountain ranges in Southern California. Points are awarded for the top finishers in each age group for the longer distance events. At the end of the season, the top point finishers will earn a berth to the National Championships in Lake Tahoe, NV.
A portion of the Los Angeles area events' proceeds benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles which was founded in 1901. Childrens Hospital Los Angeles has been treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more than a century!

Holiday Hike
Saturday, January 10, 2009, 05:25 PM - Adventures
So over the holidays my brother, Nate and I got away from the festivities to do a little hiking in the Catoctin Mts. It was just a short hike, and was colder than we expected. Not too cold to get a little EXTREME though, as Nate is doing hanging upside down here.
We ended up doing the toughest trail around but that's not saying much in South Central PA. Here Nate is getting amped to go up the hill.
Somewhere in the valley we came accross these two bridges, a pretty cool flood plane. Thought it was worth posting.

Dolly Sod trip #3 or #4...I lost count
Thursday, November 6, 2008, 07:41 PM - Adventures
HEre are a few images from our last trip to the Dolly Sods. We had to go there to take nate. We've been hyping up how great of a hiking spot it is so he was dying to go. Over all a good trip. The weather was perfect which kinda makes it almost feel boring...pretty much just becuase bad weather can add to the adventure.
